Bebo - the leading margarine specialist since 1931
Bebo is the main margarine brand for food professionals since 1931. Bebo was created as a brand by 'Benninga's Friesche Margarine Fabrieken' in Leeuwarden (The Netherlands) in 1931. The Bebo margarines were initially mainly sold to the bakery industry.
Benninga's was acquired by the family-owned company Royal Smilde in 1972. Over the years, Bebo has developed into an international foodservice brand with a strong position in the institutional market. All Bebo margarines are proudly being produced in Heerenveen (The Netherlands) to this day.
